Every year in San Diego bay they host a christmas boat parade called the SanDiego Parade of Lights in downtown.
This year the theme was Arrrrgh! Pirates. I put together a hyper-reel of the event.

As the Thomas fire has canceled all classes here at UCSB, Sherri and I drove down to San Diego to escape the smoke.
The beutiful landscapes of Cuyamaca were a sharp contrast to the stifling atmosphere we left in SB.
