Before photographing a wedding, Sherri and I took some time to go adventuring in the Palm Springs area. The snow in the mountains was a sharp contrast to the dust storms and blooming dessert landscape.

We were joined by our good friend and fellow photographer Min for a trip to nearby Antelope valley to photograph the wildflower bloom there. It was a bizzar experience as it was incredibly warm and very windy making…

We further immersed ourselves in the superbloom via a trip to Anza Borrego where we got to see the rare gift of endless flowers in an otherwise barren dessert landscape.

With mom in tow, we went to Diamond Valley Lake where a birdie told me there was a good bloom of poppies this year. The snow capped mountains were a nice contrast to the fields of poppies.

Close to my mom's house in San Diego is Torrey Pines Reserve. This year the park was covered in flowers and some very happy squirrels.
